SociaLab launched in 2000 from an incubator at Edinburgh University (UK) and worked there for three years, mostly with financial instutions taking on e-busienss strategies and social responsisbiliity initiatives. we moved to Italy in 2003, based on an invitation to work with the leading Italian companies to benchmark best practices on social performance. We have been based in San Francisco for the past six years, working with socially oriented start-ups, major companies, and enterprising non-profits.
